Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Chief Meets South African Minister

Bonn, May 04 (QNA) - HE Chairman of Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, who is also the president-elect of the Climate Change Conference (COP 18) met here on Friday with South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane Chairperson the UN Conference on Climate Change ((COP17 ). The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ministerial conference on climate change held here today. During the meeting, they discussed the most important topics on the agenda of the Ministerial Conference as well as cooperation in all issues related to climate change. The meeting also discussed Qatar’s hosting the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to be held in November 2012. The meeting was attended by members of the delegation accompanying HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, and the President of the Conference of climate change ( COP18 ).
