Acting President Mamytov meets with World Cup wrestling medalists

Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov congratulated on Wednesday members of the national wrestling team and coaching staff who won prizes at the World Cup in Belgrade (Serbia). The event was attended by prize winners Aisuluu Tynybekova, Zholoman Sharshenbekov, Meerim Zhumanazarova, Ruslan Tsarev, Kaly Sulaimanov, Aiperi Medet kyzy, Islambek Orozbekov, as well as the coaching staff. In his congratulatory speech, the acting head of state noted the Kyrgyz wrestlers have shown good results at the World Cup, winning three gold and five bronze medals, taking second place in the overall medal standings. Wrestler Aisulu Tynybekova on behalf of the national team members expressed gratitude to all of countrymen and fans for their support. She also noted the hard work of the national team's head coach, Nurbek Izabekov, who contributed greatly to the development of women's wrestling and made Kyrgyzstan famous around the world. "I am sure that in the near future there will be new names of outstanding Kyrgyz champions, and for this each athlete must train tirelessly and be a patriot," said Aisulu Tynybekova. In turn, head coach Nurbek Izabekov expressed gratitude to the leadership of the country and Kyrgyz people for their support and warm welcome. He wished victories for the athletes at the Olympics, assuring that the coaching staff will make every effort for this. Acting President Mamytov presented the athletes and coaches with cash prizes allocated from the reserve fund of the Head of State.
