ABU DHABI, 22nd January, 2018 (WAM) -- The UAE Theatre Circle kicked off on 21st January as part of the Abu Dhabi Festival 2018 (ADF18), aimed at empowering and fostering the expertise of emerging Emirati and Arab actors, further developing their skills in the performing arts. Organised by Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF), the three-week training course is led by renowned UAE theatre practitioner Dr. Habib Ghuloom Al Attar, leading stage and screen actor and Director of Culture and Community Activities at the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development. Running until 8th February 2018, the workshops will mentor gifted, emerging and aspiring actors in improvisation, voice, movement and character development; and will result in a special public performance honouring the comedic works of the late Kuwaiti actor, Abdulhussein Abdulreda. The public performance will be held at Umm Al Emarat Park on 31st March 2018, as part of ADF18’s Festival in the Park.
