Abadi To Iran on Head of Official Delegation

BAGHDAD / NINA / Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi headed to the Iranian capital Tehran at the head of an official delegation on an official invitation, the visit is the second after being assigned as Prime Minister last August. Abadi is scheduled to discuss with Iranian officials, during his one-day visit, the war against the terrorist organization (Daash), bilateral relations and the regional situation as well as many other common issues. Abadi will meet the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, Iranian President Hassan Rowhani, vice president Yitzhak Jhangere and House Speaker Ali Larijani. Abadi is accompanied by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Adel Fahd, the environment minister, Qutaiba al-Jubouri and a number of advisers in addition to the new Iraqi ambassador to Iran Rajah al-Moussawi.
