Abadi Heads To Paris

Baghdad, Iraq (NINA) -Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi headed to Paris today at the official invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. "Abadi will discuss with the French president the issues related to the focus of efforts to fight terrorism in the region, especially as France has air and ground forces that contribute to the international coalition forces to fight Daesh," the media sources in the prime minister's office said. "The two sides will discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them and the possibility of France's contribution to the reconstruction of the devastated cities that have recently been liberated from Daesh terrorist organization." Abadi is accompanied by a ministerial delegation comprising defense minister, Irfan al-Hayali, oil minister Jabbar al-Luaibi, agriculture minister, Falah Hassan Zaidan, labor and social affairs minister, Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani, national security adviser Faleh al-Fayadh and a number of senior officials in the state./ End
