98% of Hunainiya housing project completed

Manama, July 27 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for housing projects, Sami Abdullah Bu Hazza, said that the completion in Al-Hunainiya housing project has reached its final stages and it is estimated to be 98%, explaining that the project falls within the framework of the comprehensive plan by the ministry to meet the demands housing in Southern Governorate that are listed on waiting lists. The Assistant Undersecretary added that the ministry will start distribution housing units to the beneficiaries according to the standard of seniority immediately upon completion of some complementary measures in a short period, including identifying additional entrances and exits of the project. He explained that Al-Hunainiya housing project includes for about 293 residential units that built on 15.32 hectares, and this project is characterized by its strategic location, and its facilities such as open spaces, playgrounds, shops and mosques. "The execution units in the project was marked by the use of an enhanced based on the T8 type, with facades developed for this project specially , to suit the traditional Bahraini style and that who may see it clearly in the windows and some other elements of the interfaces," he added. And on the latest developments on housing projects, he said: "The Minister of Housing Basim bin Yaqoub Al Hamer pays attention to the various governorates of the Kingdom, through projects that are being implemented in Tubli, Umm Al Hassam, Sanad, Nabih Saleh, Al Hamala, Al Bilad Al Qadeem, Sitra, Arad and Hamad Town projects." He pointed out that the ministry is keen to follow up on all the projects that are being implemented to meet the needs and aspirations of the citizens and residents in various areas of the Kingdom and provide the best housing services to them in the required speed and quality.
