80th IFA Annual Conference to Kick Off Tuesday in Doha

Doha, May 20 (QNA) - The 80th International Fertilizer Association (IFA) Annual Conference is to Kick off in Doha on Tuesday, May 22, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. The two-day conference, hosted by Qatar Fertilizer Company (QAFCO), will be attended by around 1400 participants from 75 countries representing about 400 member companies of the International Federation of Chemical Fertilizers. The conference, which will be attended by a large number of executive heads and representatives of fertilizer manufacturing and marketing companies, will focus on issues related to the fertilizer industry at the global level and its future as well as ways to strengthen and develop them. The conference gains its importance particularly because it takes place in Doha at a time that Qatar is approaching to become the fourth largest producer of urea. (QNA)
