554 new cases of COVID-19 detected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In Mongolia, 554 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours, reported at the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health today. Specifically, there were 451 new cases detected in Ulaanbaatar city, 102 were recorded in rural aimags and one was an imported case. Today, the total cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia now stands at 12,780. 372 people have been discharged from the hospital yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,140. Currently, there are 2,637 patients undergoing treatment, of which 2,176 are in mild, 373 are in serious, 74 are in critical and 14 are in very critical health condition. Moreover, one more COVID-19 related death has been reported, bringing the total to 18.
