400 tons of Kyrgyz honey to be exported to Japan

Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2022. /Kabar/. As a result of the joint work of entrepreneurs of the two countries with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan, a contract was signed on Aug. 10 to export 400 tons of honey to Japan from Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the contract was signed between Japan style and Yamada Bee Company Group with the participation of Sojitz trading company. According to the agreements of the companies, the mentioned volume of honey will be supplied to Japan in several stages. The first container of 20 tons will be exported soon. For reference: as part of the promotion of domestic products and goods to foreign countries, 43.4 tons of Kyrgyz honey were exported to Japan in 2021, (8.3 tons in 2018, 13.4 tons in 2019, 15, 7 tons in 2020).
