Bishkek, June 7, 2022. /Kabar/. Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Kudaibergen Bazarbaev addressed the international forum "Migration and Development: prospects and new opportunities” in Bishkek.
The minister emphasized the need to develop the national labor market.
"It is predicted that the number of people of working age will increase by 250 thousand people in the next 5 years. The country will be under constant pressure in the labor market because of the annual natural inflow of young people of working age. By 2030, the pressure will peak at about 350,000 people a year entering the labor market," he said.
To solve the issue, Bazarbaev proposed to build a unified system of interaction between the three key government agencies - Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration.
The official added that opening new enterprises, training relevant qualified personnel, creating conditions for retraining and retraining in professions demanded in the labor market, will contribute to employment in the domestic and foreign markets, will provide qualified workforce needs of the economy.
