34 Entries for Harwood International Stakes

Doha, August 08 (QNA) - Qatar Arabian World Cup winner Mkeefa is among the 34 first entries for the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club sponsored Harwood International Stakes, a Group I race for Pure Arabian horses four-years-old and over. The 1,600 metres contest will be held at Doncaster on September 14. Apart from HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Thanis Mkeefa, Qatar has many other notable contenders in the fray. Umm Qarn owned and Alban de Mieulle trained Tabarak, Muntasar, Farraaha, alongwith Hassan Al-Matwis La Hoor and HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Faleh Al Thani owned Damis are capable of making their mark on their day. Al Shahania Studs Al Atique, Aziz, Areej and Theeba will also be hoping to bring laurels to the country. This seems to be a race of high quality as there are many international challengers in the fray. No Problem, Al Maury, Sartejano and Sahlambo are some of the top class experienced performers who will aim for top honours.(QNA)
