303,316 people arrived in Bahrain on August 20-26

Aug. 27 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 303,316 people had entered Bahrain between August 20 and 26.
According to the weekly statistic, 229,212 people arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states via King Fahad Causeway, 73,843 through Bahrain International Airport and 261 through seaports.
The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway was officially inaugurated on November 26, 1986.
The GCC, founded in 1981, comprises Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
