247,865 people entered Bahrain on October 28 -- November 4

Manama, Nov. 5 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 247,865 people had entered Bahrain between October 29 and November 4. He added 204,867 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries via King Fahad Causeway, 42,569 through Bahrain International Airport and 429 through ports. The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used ever since by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
