222,849 people entered Bahrain from October 22 to 29

Manama, Oct. 29 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 222,849 people had entered Bahrain between October 22 and 29 . He added 174,997 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries via King Fahad Causeway, 47,505 through Bahrain International Airport and 347 through ports. The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used ever since by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
