2.2 Million Iranian pilgrims Crossed The Iranian Border To Iraq To Participate In Al-Arba'in Visit Of Imam Hussein

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - The deputy commander of Iran's internal security forces, Iskandar Muamni announced on Monday that 2.2 million people have crossed the Iranian border into Iraq to participate in the visit of al-Arba'in of Imam Hussein. "About 700,000 of the 2.2 million pilgrims (visitors) have returned to the country, and the Iranian police have taken measures to return the rest of the pilgrims," Muamni said in a press statement.
