2 Europeans arrested for cyberfraud

Manama, July 14 (BNA): In response to a video on the discovery of a device that could read data of ATM machine, the General Director of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security announced on Thursday the arrest of two Europeans for fixing a fake device on an ATM machine that could read information of bank cards of the clients. He said that after following up the video, the department launched investigation and the suspects were identified and arrested. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution. He called upon the public to report illegal activities to the hotline 992. (Courtesy of Moi)
