‘Year of Development-with participation of citizens’ announced

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ A Governor’s Council of the Capital City held its first meeting of 2019. At the meeting, the council decided to announce 2019 as ‘Year of development with participation of citizens’ within the objectives to implement 2016-2020 Plan of Action of the Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, basic guideline to develop socio-economy of the city in 2019, prioritize citizen-centered public services, improve public service quality, capacity of public organizations and discipline and responsibility of public servants in consistent with growing needs and demands of citizens, intensify innovation-based works as well as others. “A year of 2019 is very special for Ulaanbaatar city because it will mark its 380th anniversary. Therefore, we aim at bringing all public services and citizens’ development to a new level. Within the historical anniversary, the municipal administration will work for developing all sectors with involvement of citizens,” said J.Batbayasgalan, acting Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar.
