Edil Baisalov meets with chair of Chinese SCO Committee for Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation

Bishkek, June 15, 2023. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, as part of a working trip to the People's Republic of China, met with Deputy Chairman of the All-China Committee of the People's Political Consultative Council of China, Chair of the Chinese SCO Committee for Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, President of the All-China Women's Federation (CPPCC) Shen Yueyue, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

The meeting began with words of gratitude to the people and leadership of the People's Republic of China.

“Thank you for the selfless and generous fraternal and good-neighborly assistance and support that you provided to Kyrgyzstan during the global COVID- 19 pandemic. Our people will never forget that China was the first to come to helpfrom the very first days of the pandemic. Once again we were convinced of the sincerity and strength of our friendship. Today, Kyrgyzstan and China are true friends, reliable partners and good neighbors,” said Edil Baisalov.

He emphasized that the Kyrgyz-Chinese relations of comprehensive strategic partnership are at a very high level.

In turn, Shen Yueyue noted that our countries provide mutual support for initiatives, positions of the parties on topical issues on the international agenda, in the elected bodies of international organizations.

The sides noted the successful state visit of the president of the Kyrgyz Republic to China in May 2023, exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and expressed confidence in in-depth cooperation in all areas in the spirit of good neighborliness and friendship.
