Uzbekistan, Korea to discuss finance and taxation

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Aug. 27 / Trend D. Azizov / Korean Finance Minister Bahk Jae Wan will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on August 31, a government source told Trend today. Bahk Jae Wan will hold talks with representatives of the Uzbek government, including First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Rustam Azimov. The parties will discuss the issues of finance and taxation in the construction, energy, environment and labor market. The total volume of the declared South Korean investments in the Uzbek economy is more than $5 billion, including mastered $2 billion. In 2011, bilateral trade amounted to $1.6 billion. More than 350 companies with the South Korean capital operate in fields of light, chemical, food industries, commerce, engineering, metalworking, housing, health, tourism and services in Uzbekistan.
