US main culprit behind Iran's banking problems with other countries

Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA - A senior Slovenian official here on Sunday described US as the main culprit behind the problems hampering Iran's banking transactions with other countries. Talking to IRNA, Managing Director of Tevel Company Iztok Zivko, who has traveled to Iran along with a Slovenian high ranking politico-economic delegation, voiced his determination to expand cooperation with the Iranian side. He added the travel of three Slovenian banks' representatives to Iran indicates the country's safe and sound environment for foreign investments. He noted the representatives of Nova Ljubljanska, Gorenjska, SID banks are negotiating with the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) officials aimed at fostering mutual banking cooperation. Zivko noted there is no hindrance on the way of fostering banking transaction between the two countries. Tevel is a specialized company in finding innovative solutions to gas and leak detection problems in mining and industry for more than 25 years. On Nov 21, Slovenian President Borut Pahor heading a high ranking politico-economic delegation arrived in Tehran. While in Tehran, Slovenian president held talks with senior Iranian officials on ways to develop political and economic cooperation between the two countries. 1378/IRNA
