Turkmenistan exceeds estimates of oil, gas production

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5 By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend: Turkmenistan has exceeded expectations of oil and gas condensate production from January through August 2020, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency. This was reported during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held via videoconference. The estimates of oil and gas condensate production were exceeded by 2.2 percent, natural and associated gas - by 1.2 percent, gas exports – by 0.8 percent, oil refining – by 3.1 percent, gasoline production – by 5.6 percent, diesel fuel production – by 6.3 percent, kerosene production – 6.9. It was decided to improve the activities of oil and gas companies, as well as to ensure stable growth of production and economic indicators in the country. As reported, Turkmenistan has surpassed projections of oil and gas condensate production from January through July 2020. The estimates for seven months of oil and gas condensate production was exceeded by 2.4 percent, natural and associated gas - by 1.6 percent, gas exports – by 0.4 percent, oil refining – by 3.7 percent, gasoline production – by 2.3 percent, and diesel fuel production – by 6.9 percent. --- Follow the author on Twitter: @JeilaAliyeva
