TURKEY'S CAPACITY UTILIZATION RATE UP IN OCTOBER
ANKARA (A.A) - 11.11.2009 - Turkey's capacity utilization rate was up 1.7 points in October 2009 over September 2009.
The Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) announced on Wednesday that the capacity utilization rate in manufacturing industry was up to 71.8 percent in October, with 1.7 points rise over September 2009.
However, the rate was 4.9 points below that of October 2008.
The capacity utilization rate was 76.7 percent in October 2008, and 70.1 percent in September 2009.
