Turkey to commence sea freight transportation with Lebanon

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 11 / Trend, R. Hafizoglu / In the near future, Turkey will be operating sea freight transportation with the Lebanon using ro-ro vessels, Turkish deputy economy minister Bulent Ugur Ecevit told reporters, the Turkish Anadolu news agency reported on Friday. Freight traffic will operate from the Turkish city of Mersin, to the Lebanese port of Tarabulus Ash-Sham. According to Bulent Ugur Ecevit,, negotiations are currently underway with the Lebanese side. Late last year, Turkey started sea freight traffic with Egypt by ro-ro vessels. Freight traffic movement between Turkey and Egypt is carried out from the Turkish city of Mersin to the Egyptian port of Alexandria. Do you have any feedback?
