Sukuk Al-Salam monthly issue oversubscribed by 159%

Manama, Sept. 22 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on Tuesday announced that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities for the BD 43 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days, had been oversubscribed by 159%. The expected return on the issue, which begins on 23 September 2015 and matures on 23 December 2015, is 1.41% compared to 1.35% for the previous issue on 26 August 2015. The securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is issue No.173 (ISIN BH000843Y995) of Sukuk Al-Salam securities.
