SOCAR commissions new onshore gas well in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug 30 /Trend E.Ismayilov/ State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has commissioned a new gas well on the onshore field Garadagh, SOCAR said on Thursday. The well supplies 150,000 cubic meters of gas per day from a depth of 3355-3324 m. Drilling of the well was carried out by order of the Management of gas storage operation, the balance of which includes two underground storage facilities - Garadagh and Kalmaz. SOCAR includes production association Azneft (companies producing oil and gas on land and sea), Production Association Azerkimya (chemical industry), production association Azerigas (gas distribution).
