SCE receives Irish delegation

Manama, May 12 (BNA): The Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE)'s CEO, Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Bin Daina, received a delegation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, comprising Professor Sameer al-Ottoom the University's President, Professor Joe McMenamin, VP for Academic Affairs and Dr. Michael Keogh, lecturer in biology.
During the meeting, the SCE's CEO welcomed the delegation, stressing the Council's keenness, led by HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of HM the King, on boosting cooperation with the College to benefit from latest studies and discoveries, preserve the environment and climate in Bahrain and achieve sustainable development through communication and coordination between the two sides.
Dr. Bin Daina praised the distinctive role undertaken by the Royal College of Surgeons through its contribution to development of the medical sector and its provision of research studies on various developmental aspects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Towards the end of the meeting, the delegation expressed gratitude and appreciation of the good reception, praising the SCE's efforts and attentiveness to the environment. The Universtiy's President extended invitation to the SCE's CEO to visit the university's campus to outline the SCE's profiles and its role in environmental preservation.
