Russian trade delegation to visit Bahrain next month

Manama , Nov 9 (BNA): Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad underlined the agreements and memorandums of understanding signed during the visit of the BCCI's delegation accompanied the Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa to Russia in last October will contribute to increasing the volume of trade between Bahrain and Russia and the establishment of joint investment projects. BCCI Chairman, during meeting with Advisor A. Abubakarov to St. Petersburg Mayor, in the presence of representatives from the Capital Governorate and BCCI CEO, said that the visit had witnessed high-level meetings with Russian officials and private sectors leaders focused on uplifting bilateral relations and exploring investment opportunities in both countries. The Russian side lauded the economic openness in Bahrain. It noted that a Russian delegation representing government and private sectors will visit Bahrain next month to activate the outcomes of the Bahraini visit to Russia and discuss trade and investment cooperation.
