Russia’s Finance Minister does not rule out Greek projects may be financed from BRICS New Development Bank in future

MOSCOW, July 7. /TASS/. Russia’s Finance Minister Anton Siluanov did not rule out that Greek projects may be financed from the BRICS New Development Bank in distant future. "Probably in the future some projects of Greece and other counties will be invested from the BRICS New Development Bank," he said Tuesday, adding though this will not happen in the nearest future. He also said Greece has not turned to Russia for loans. "Greece has not turned to us with this issue, the loan issue has not been considered," he said. Siluanov added that the BRICS New Development Bank will be financing highly-efficient projects on infrastructure development. At the same time funds will also be spent on other countries’ economies and projects though the development of infrastructure of member-states of the bank will be top priority. Read more
