Road traffic between Georgia and Russia closed due to snowfalls

Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb. 8 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia Due to the heavy snowfalls road traffic between Georgia and Russia has been again closed. The movement on Four-way pass and on the Kobe-Stepantsminda and Stepantsminda-Larsi road sections in the direction of the Upper Lars on the Georgian-Russian border is forbidden to all kinds of transport, the Highway Department of Georgia reported. Restraints have been imposed on the Georgian roads. The traffic towards Kakheti through the Gombori pass is fully forbidden. The movement of trailers and semi-trailers to Gudauri is limited. The road traffic in Tbilisi is hampered. During the night 10 cm of snow has fallen in the Georgian capital. Currently, there is a heavy snow as well. Weather forecasters do not predict any improvement in weather conditions until Feb. 12.
