QP Announced as Gold Sponsor for 13th GCC Industrialists' Conference and International Exhibition

Doha, December 25 (QNA) - Qatar Petroleum (QP) was selected as the Gold Sponsor for the 13th GCC Industrialists' Conference and International Exhibition due to be held in Riyadh on January 17-19, 2012 under the theme "Knowledge-Based Industries and New Technologies," the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) said in a press release issued on Sunday. Sponsoring this event comes as part of QP's policy to support GOIC's efforts aimed at supporting the industrial development in the region, said HE Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy & Industry and QP Chairman and Managing Director. This event is considered as one of the most important conferences and events held by GOIC, DR. he added. For his part, GOIC Secretary- General, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Aqeel has expressed his appreciation to HE Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada for his continuous and permanent support for the orgnaisation. The Industrialists Conference is hosted biannually by a member state in rotation. It is considered as one of the important achievements of GOIC since its inception in 1976. The Industrialists Conference draws the attention and concern of decision makers and officials, in addition to a broad spectrum of businessmen and industrialists. As part of the Conference, an industrial fair is held to introduce achievements of Gulf industries and latest global technologies. (QNA)
