QIIB Assembly Approves Expanding its Board of Directors

Doha, February 18 (QNA) - Qatar International Islamic Bank will increase the number of its board members to 11 from the existing nine following the approval at its Extra-ordinary General Assembly meeting held here, according to a Qatar Exchange notification Monday. The assembly Sunday approved its Board of Directors' recommendation to amend Article (21) of the bank's articles of association to increase its number of board members. The QIIB board membership window will be open for two more members from February 18 up to 2pm on February 25, 2013. The current board's term expires at the end of 2013. (QNA)
