QFBA Organizes Third Training Course on MDP

Doha, July 02 (QNA) - Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) announced graduation of the second and third batches that participated in the Management Development Programme (MDP), organized by the QFBA in cooperation with Price Waterhouse with Coopers(PwC) as part of its strategy to meet the needs of the business community in the energy sector in Qatar. A statement by the QFBA said that the participants received training for five weeks by the consultants and academics at the PwC. These five weeks are distributed for 4 months, covering a wide range of topics such as corporate finance, management risks, tax governance and corporate governance. On this occasion, the QFBA's CEO Dr. Abdulaziz al-Horr, expressed satisfaction over the success of holding the MDP for the third time in collaboration with the PwC, confirming the commitment of the academy to promoting the skills of Qatar's future leaders in various sectors in order to build a knowledge-based sustainable economy. For his part, Stewart Carter, Director of PwC in Doha and coordinator of the MDP, said that the MDP provides for the energy sector specific training courses in order to enhance the skills of professionals working in this sector.(QNA)
