Qatari Businessmen Association Meets High-Level Tunisian Delegation

Doha, March 27 (QNA) - The Qatari Businessmen Association held today a working luncheon in honour of visiting Tunisian President Dr. Mohammed Moncef Marzouki and his accompanying delegation. HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Association welcomed President Dr Mohamed Moncef Marzouki who participated in the Arab summit held yesterday in Doha, expressing its important role in strengthening relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Tunisia in trade and investment cooperation between the Qatari businessmen and their counterparts in the Tunisian side. Sheikh Faisal expressed the Association's desire to promote investment opportunities in Tunisia in various fields. For his part, Tunisian President stressed his country's openness to all Arab investors, led by the State of Qatar, adding that Qatar has consistently provided material and logistical support to Tunisia in the past two years. The Tunisian president said that the economic relations between the two countries witnessed a significant improvement in the recent period as a result of the signing of a large number of bilateral agreements.
