Qatar, Pakistan Sign a MoU on Air Transport

Doha, February 27 (QNA) -Qatar and Pakistan signed here on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on air transport according to which rights of air transport and flights number are to be increased between the two countries. Abdul Aziz Mohamed Al Noaimi, the chairman of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, signed the MoU for Qatar while Raja Mohamed Arif Nadheer, the First Secretary at the Pakistani Defence Ministry signed for the other side. The MOU allows the Qatar Airways to increase the number of its destinations to new points in the Republic of Pakistan. It was also agreed to update some of the terms of the air transport agreement between the two countries and which was signed in 1972. (QNA)
