Qatar Insurance Company Posts QR 302.7 Million Net Profit

Doha, August 01 (QNA) - Qatar Insurance Company disclosed the semi annual financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012. The reviewed financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2012 revealed a net profit of QR 302.7 million in comparison to QR 341.8 million for the same period last year, the company said in a statement. The company's Earning per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 3.39 as of June 30, 2012 versus QR 3.83 for the corresponding period in 2011. Qatar Islamic Insurance was incorporated in October 1993 and had been listed in Qatar Exchange on the 12th of December, 1999.
