Qatar Government Treasury Bills Short-term in QE Thursday

Doha, December 26 (QNA) -HE Governor of Qatar Central Bank Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani announced Monday the completion of the procedures to start the listed of government debt securities in Qatar Exchange secondary markets. The stock market will start to listed the Treasury Bills Short-term next Thursday while other government bonds will be listed at later stage , HE added. HE Governor of Central Bank predicted that government debt securities will be demanded by banks and financial institutions and investors. He noted that the process of trading government debt securities in the secondary market of Qatar Stock Exchange comes as a first stage to launch the secondary market for bonds in the stock exchange in Qatar.(QNA)
