Pumping Oil From Turkish Port Ceyhan Stopped For Maintenance Work
BAGHDAD / NINA / Turkish Energy Minister, Taner Yildiz announced that pumping crude oil from Iraq through the pipeline stopped due to maintenance work.
The Website of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan quoted the minister as saying, " 6.5 million barrels of crude oil from the Kurdistan region were shipped to world markets through the Turkish port of Ceyhan since the start of export."
He adde,"The pumping of crude oil through the Kirkuk - Ceyhan pipeline stopped today due to maintenance work."
He pointed out that "the amount of supplies in this line is 120 thousand barrels per day and began at the end of 2013, but loading the first shipment did not begin until May," ./ end
