Mowasalat, Lusail Sign MoU on Management of Water Taxi Project

Doha, December 05 (QNA) - The Lusail Real Estate Development Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mowasalat Company (Karwa) for the management of water taxi project in the future. Qatari Diar CEO Mohamed bin Ali Al Hedfa said that this agreement will enhance the readiness of Qatar in hosting the future international events and will offer reliable and effective alternatives to the traditional means of transportation. Mowasalat Chairman and managing director Jassim Saif al-Sulaiti said the project will be developed in parallel with the development of the city of Lusail and that the two sides will work together to bring in the advanced water technology transport to Qatar, adding that the project will be tested during a period to be agreed upon the parties. The services will be provided in proportion to the population and development in the city of Lusail, he added. (QNA)
