The Minister Of Oil Meets His UAE Counterpart In Dubai

Baghdad / NINA / - Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, met in Dubai with his Emirati counterpart Suhail Al-Mazrouei on the sidelines of the work and activities of the Gastec conference and exhibition. Ismail stressed, according to a statement by the ministry, the importance of accelerating the optimal investment of natural gas, and increasing production and marketing by producing and exporting countries, in order to keep pace with the growth of global demand and increased consumption. He added: "The matter imposes this responsibility on everyone, which requires more cooperation, coordination and partnership between the producing and consuming countries and the investing and developing companies." The Minister of Oil praised the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Abu Dhabi, which are witnessing steady growth in all fields, including the oil and energy sector.
