Mawashi Receives Largest Livestock Shipment of 65,000 from Australia

Doha, February 07 (QNA) - Qatar Meat and Livestock Company (QE: QMLS) has announced the arrival in Doha of its largest ever livestock shipment to date from Australia with more than 65,000 sheep and calves. Australian livestock is distinguished for its globally acclaimed meat quality and incomparable taste, the company which is also known as Mawashi said in a notification posted on Qatar Exchange Thursday. The shipment also includes hybrid Australian sheep and a considerable number of lambs which are very well-known for the tenderness of its meat. The shipment has undergone thorough medical tests in line with globally-recognized standards prior to its release to the market which reaffirms Mawashi's strict compliance with the government's health requirements and the company s commitment to provide the market with the best and safest livestock from across the world, the company said.
