Iraq Discusses With Saudi Arabia Mechanisms To Encourage Its Companies To Work In Iraq And Overcome Obstacles They May Face

Baghdad / NINA / - Iraq discussed with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mechanisms to encourage its companies to work in Iraq and overcome the obstacles they might face. A foreign ministry statement said that Iraq's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdul Sattar Hadi al-Janabi, met this evening, Wednesday, Khalid al-Falih, the Saudi Minister of Investment. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the work of the Economic, Trade, Investment, Development and Relief Committee affiliated with the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, and mechanisms for encouraging Saudi companies to work in Iraq and overcoming the obstacles they may face, as well as reviewing the agenda of the next meeting of the Iraqi-Saudi Businessmen Council, which will be held in Riyadh early next week. During the meeting, the minister expressed his keenness to attend some of the council's meetings. The ambassador expressed his keenness to communicate directly with the relevant Saudi ministries to overcome obstacles in coordination with the competent Iraqi ministries and investment./ End
