Iran discloses volume of essential products available in ports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21

There are about 3.5 million tons of essential products in Iranian ports at present, Deputy Director of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Mehrdad Jamal Arvanaghi said, Trend reports citing IRICA.
The deputy director noted that there are about 1.49 million tons of corn, 339,000 tons of barley, 237,000 tons of soybeans, 395,000 tons of crude vegetable oil, and more than 255,000 tons of oilseeds.
Arvanaghi added that there are also more than 360,000 tons of sugar and about 200,000 tons of rice in Iranian ports.
“More than 2.3 million tons of the essential products are in the Imam Khomeini port, 378,000 tons in the Shahid Rajaee Port, 110,000 tons in the Anzali port, 368,000 tons in the Amirabad port and 1,230 tons in the Shahid Bahonar port,” he said.
The deputy director stressed that at the same time, 897 tons of essential products are in Bushehr port, 30,000 tons in Chabahar port, 1,650 tons in Khorramshahr port, 154,000 tons in Noshahr port, 75,000 tons in Fereidoonkenar port, 10,500 tons in Astara port.
According to him, currently, about 2.7 million tons of these products can be released immediately.
