Industry minister meets Alba chairman

Manama, Nov.22(BNA): The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani stressed the Government's firm support to national companies. He underlined the crucial role of national companies in bolstering the standing of Bahrain as an incubator of mega projects and leading international industrial firms. Receiving Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) Chairman Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, the minister underlined the pivotal role of the pioneering smelter in boosting the national economy and bolstering the Kingdom's regional and international standing. The Minister stressed the importance of cooperation between the public sector private sectors, which contributes to achieving the Government's development programmes. Alzayani reiterated the ministry's resolve to provide all facilities for the national companies and other firms to continue playing their crucial role as a driving engine of the national economy.
