industry and Commerce Minister meets Kazakh Deputy Premier

Manama, Apr 14 (BNA) -- On the sidelines of the historical visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Industry and Commerce Minister, Dr. Hassan Fakhro, today met Deputy Prime Minster, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan, Issekeshev Asset Orentayevich. The meeting was attended by Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Jumaa Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief Executive of Bahrain Economic Development Board, Kamal Ahmed Mohammed, Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs, Nader Al-Moayyed and Bahrain News Agency (BNA)'s Acting Director-General, Mohannad Sulaiman Al-Nuaimi. The parties discussed ways to develop bilateral economic and investment relations and enhancing cooperation in areas of food security, aluminum, agriculture, Islamic banking and geological researches. Industry and Commerce Minister emphasized the Royal visits' role in enhancing economic, trade and investment relations. He noted both leaderships' efforts to upgrade bilateral relations, pointing out the positive outcomes of reciprocated visits in terms of benefitting from expertise and information available in both countries and employing them in line with visions of both countries. Kazakh Deputy Premier hailed HM the King's visit and the associated activities, and highlighted his country's keenness to develop joint cooperation and to benefit form available expertise and investment opportunities available in both countries.
