Gulf Air representative chairs WACRA 2015 conference

Manama, Nov. 5 (BNA): Worldwide Airline Customer Relations Association (WACRA) Chairperson and Gulf Air Senior Manager Customer Experience, Mrs. Kavita S. Al Jassim, along with WACRA board members and delegates from over fifty airlines recently participated in the WACRA 2015 Conference held in Thailand. Hosted by Bangkok Airways, the theme for this year’s conference was "Service with Passion" and, speaking at the event, Mrs. Kavita S. Al Jassim spoke of the importance of redefining relationships with airline customers saying: "Customer care remains the heart of the airline business and the importance of creating long-lasting positive connections with our customers cannot be over-stated. This ensures better customer retention and helps industry professionals tailor customized service solutions – personalized to the needs of our passengers. Gulf Air’s customer care efforts in this regard have delivered significant positive results over the past year and it is a pleasure and honor to share our experience with WACRA members." The WACRA 2015 Conference was attended by industry leaders and customer service professionals. WACRA is a world-wide organization of air transport professionals dedicated to promoting and encouraging a free exchange of ideas and methods to provide a consistently high level of customer service since 1946. This has become the forum to share and benefit from each other’s customer relations and service experiences and issues. It also co-operates with the Air Transport Association (ATA) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Chaired by Mrs. Kavita Al Jassim, the WACRA Board of Directors consists of Dan Thompson from United Airlines, Douglas Stolls from Virgin America, Heidi Gould from Delta Air Lines, Mostafa Karam from Emirates, Neville Gillett from Air New Zealand, Prote Setsuwan from Bangkok Airways and Sami Maenpaa from Finnair.
