Governor Of Maysan Discusses With The Indian Ambassador Joint Cooperation In The Field Of Investment Projects

Amara / NINA /- The Governor of Maysan, Ali Dawai Lazim, discussed with the Indian ambassador to Iraq and his accompanying delegation, the joint cooperation between Maysan Governorate and the Republic of India in the field of investment projects in the industrial city and the rest of the other investment projects. The governor reviewed, during his meeting with the Indian ambassador, today, Wednesday, the province’s potentials of mineral resources, oil and gas, raw materials, human resources and expertise in all fields, in addition to the governorate’s characteristics in terms of industrial and agricultural and its specificity in terms of water resources and agricultural crops. For his part, the Indian ambassador expressed his readiness to cooperate with Maysan Governorate to invest in various sectors, since Maysan Governorate is attractive to foreign investors and expressed his satisfaction with the services provided by the local government to citizens in the province. The ambassador indicated that his country has allocated courses for administrative and technical cadres for Iraqi employees as well as allocating fellowships. The governor stressed the need to coordinate with the governorate of Maysan directly to ensure the share of the people of the province from these courses and academic fellowships, and it was agreed on joint coordination for the success and activation of what was proposed during the meeting./ End
