Government supports civil society organisations

Manama, Apr. 8 (BNA): Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani expressed the Government's appreciation and support to all civil society organisations. The minister lauded the efforts of their members that contribute to the public interest, pointing out that the ministry supports the events and programmes of these organisations and provides the necessary support and facilitations to achieve their goals and to fulfill aspirations. The minister was speaking at a meeting between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Bahrain Bar Association (BBA)'s Chairperson, Huda Al Mehza. The meeting explored and discussed all the relevant matters and future trends and the means of cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the BBA in the manner that serves national objectives and accomplishes mutual aspirations. The minister said the government gives law and advisory institutions a special importance, especially as they have become today an inseparable and integral part of the national development in the Kingdom, praising their effective basic role in boosting the economic sector development through legislation, regulation, consultation.
