GOIC Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI)

Doha February 27 (QNA) - The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) signed today a memorandum of understanding with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry during a meeting held at the chamber's headquarters in the AE Emirate of Sharjah. A press release issued by the Doha-based GOIC said the memorandum aims to develop a framework to facilitate cooperation and coordination and the create a working relationship between the organization and the chamber in order to develop cooperation between them, as well as to establish partnerships for joint action. The memorandum was signed for the organization by GOIC Secretary General Abdul Aziz bin Hamad Al-Aqeel and for the chamber by its Director General Hussein Mohammed Hamoudi. According to the statement the terms of the three-year memorandum will provide for holding negotiations for the conclusion of contracts in the field of research, field surveys, preparation of reports and holding of a training workshop in all aspects related to strategies and industrial policies that aim to develop the business environment of small and medium enterprises industrial projects. Under the terms of the memorandum, GOIC and the chamber also agreed to work for increasing the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises at the local, regional and international levels through the exchange of experiences available to both sides. In addition to seeking to develop technical and managerial capacity of the individuals concerned with the work environment of industrial projects of small and medium enterprises through the exchange of information, training sessions and workshops.
