Georgian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental economic commission to meet in Georgia

The seventh meeting of the Georgian-Azerbaijan intergovernmental economic commission will take place in the hotel of Tbilisi Marriott on Tuesday.
Prime Ministers Artur Rasizadeh of Azerbaijan and Nika Gilauri of Georgia will attend the meeting, the Georgian Economic Ministry told Trend.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nino Kalandadze said a meeting of intergovernmental commission will scrutinize issues of economic cooperation of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
"These particularly concern energy, agriculture, transport, environmental protection, and information technology sectors," she said.
According to Kalandadze, Azerbaijan is "the main trade partner of Georgia."
"Georgia and Azerbaijan have a positive economic turnover," she underlined. "We want economic relations between the countries to be more intense in the future."
