Finance Minister receives Canadian Ambassador

Manama: April 29 – (BNA): Minister of Finance cum Minister In-charge of Oil and Gas Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today the Riyadh-based Ambassador of Canada accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Thomas MacDonald. The meeting praised the distinctive level of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Canada in the financial and economic fields and explored ways and means of boosting these relations so as to achieve the interest of both friendly countries and peoples. The meeting discussed several topics pertaining to the oil, gas and petrochemicals investment sector as well as a number of economic topics which contribute in boosting the bilateral relations between the two sides. The meeting was attended by the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA)'s Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Sherian and the Ministry of Finance's Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs Yusuf Abdullah Humood.
